Moasir Siera (Antwerp, Belgium. 2000) lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium. His work navigates through painting, sculpture, and installation, being characterized by a strong sense of symbolism and conceptual visual language. He graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp in 2025. His practice explores themes of mysticism, materiality,
and Self-realization. Drawing from metaphysics, eastern traditions and the occult, he engages in acts of transformation; of the Self and of the objects he reclaims. Gold often appears as a recurring element, as a symbol for ever-present awareness and the unchanging ground beneath transient identities, principles originating from philosophies such as Advaita-Vedanta, Kintsugi and Hermetic alchemy. In recent years, he has participated in several collective presentations at Lichtekooi, Blikfabriek, Artelex, and Groenkwartier. His work is included in private collections, and he continues to expand his research into the dialogue between the physical and the unseen. |
